When he was underage, he got to traditional progressive house accidently, then became a house fan, which affected his music aesthetics in the past over ten years, then it motivates him to be a music producer and a performer.

In January,2016, Yaakov taught himself Ableton Live. At when Chinese traditional progressive house producer was rare, he maintained the passion to house music, started research to pure progressive house which is different from EDM.

One year later, he proved himself by showing his works, he became an essential traditional progressive house producer before the techno journey begins.

In June,2017, Yaakov taught himself DJ technics, then started be active in many live events in Xiamen. Also just at that time, Yaakov fall in love with techno and tech house.

In July,2017, Yaakov got invited as a guest DJ by Electronic Music Information. He conveyed the idea of traditional progressive house, tech house, electro tech house, techno in this thousand-person scale Code Future warehouse party, this show is also his first formal and large-scale show.

From June to December of 2017, Yaakov released traditional progressive house tracks like Some Wobbles, Wait No More, and so on, which got him into music lists like NetEaseCloudMuisc, WeChat Official Accounts Platform both instation and offsite, also got promoted by many well-known media.

In December,2017, with the help of friends, Yaakov’s music got promoted to many talented techno and house producers in western countries, like Draft, Cathertzz, Novinum, Zaal and so on. Many artists overseas gave highest evaluation of Yaakov’s tracks, some people even think this is best Chinese electronic music.

In January,2018, Yaakov pronounced to drop off temporarily to transform into techno artist, during that period he also produced progressive tech house tracks like Impulse, Nirvana and more.

From February to October of 2018, Yaakov released techno works like Deep Fear, Auto Magic EP, Heavy Tank and so on, these works dabbled in sub-genres like dark techno, melodic techno, progressive techno, heavy techno. These not only got great responses, also attracted many house fans fall in love with techno.

In January,2019, Yaakov signed Electronic Music Information, became the first 360 deal exclusive artist of this brand, also became the co-founder and principal of DarkGlow.

Then Yaakov made his mind to explore more possibilities of industrial techno and hard techno. Genre is just a reference to him to derive more elements and got inspired, not constraint.

In March,2019, Yaakov started his first China tour, some sites are so crowded and sold out, the show got great evaluation of his fans and techno amateurs, which triggered a heated discussion in many Chinese electronic music social media, what’s more, this got the attention of Perc in Instagram.

Up to April,2019, Yaakov released total near 30 high quality tracks, but due to he was dissatisfied with early works and constantly trying to break through past production standards, Yaakov deleted most of his tracks, some of them even got deleted after the release in a few days. Bad habits led his fans constantly call him Music Deleting Beast in music streaming comments section.

In May,2019, in the documentary Release Me filmed by FEVER from NetEast got published, Yaakov was the protagonist in the first episode, through this documentary, Yaakov got exposed in the NetEastCloudMusic home page, tons of official accounts, bilibili recommend area, this documentary got hundreds of thousands of plays in a short time, which helped more people got to know Yaakov’s life and career.

Yaakov is now bring iconic industrial techno, hard techno, hard industrial techno to different places, showing chic, counterroutine industrial and techno aesthetics. His presence has been recorded in clubs, warehouse parties, music festivals and other stages in Guangzhou, Quanzhou, Xiamen, Shenzhen, Xuzhou, Nanjing, Hangzhou, Linyi, Chengdu, Suzhou, Shanghai, etc and more.

Up to now, Yaakov has total over 30,000 followers in China's music streaming and social media platforms NetEastCloudMusic and Weibo, which made him without doubt one of the most influential techno DJ and producer on the Internet in China, also one of the representatives of Chinese techno, especially for industrial techno.
